BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Jackson State’s Kiana Tulloch and Sydni Wilson, along with Alabama A&M’s Ma'Kayla Prince for SWAC Soccer Weekly Honors for their phenomenal performances during this past week of conference play.
Offensive
Tulloch scored the game winner for JSU against Alabama State, as the Lady Tigers won by a score of 1-0. In addition, she scored the first goal against Alabama A&M as the Lady Tigers won 2-0. Tulloch completed the weekend logging seven shots, five shots on goal, four points, and two goals.
Defensive
Wilson has been a key defender for the Lady Tigers this season. She has contributed to Jackson State’s ability to hold its last six opponents scoreless while helping the team remain undefeated throughout conference play.
Goalkeeper
Prince was phenomenal in defending the goal for the Lady Bulldogs over the weekend against Southern and Jackson State. She faced a total of 26 shots on goal while logging 12 saves.
