BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2021 SWAC Volleyball Predicted Order of Finish on Thursday with Alabama A&M tabbed as the league favorite heading into the fall 2021 season. The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.
 
The Lady Bulldogs (1^st) tallied a league leading eight first place votes. 2019 SWAC Volleyball Tournament Champion Alabama State (2^nd) was selected second followed by Jackson State (3^rd), Prairie View A&M (4^th), Bethune-Cookman (5^th), and Florida A&M (6^th) to round out the top half of league preseason poll picks.
 
Arkansas-Pine Bluff (7^th) was tabbed to finish in seventh place with Alcorn State (8^th), Grambling State (9^th), Southern (10^th), Texas Southern (11^th) and Mississippi Valley State (12^th) picked to finish 7-12 respectively.
 
The 2021 SWAC Volleyball regular season is set to begin next week with several league teams in action. The 2021 SWAC Volleyball Tournament will be held Nov. 19-21 on the campus of Alabama A&M University.
