BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The upcoming football game scheduled between Alabama A&M and Mississippi Valley State slated to be played on Saturday, April 24 has been canceled due to a COVID-19 related issue and subsequent quarantining of student-athletes among the MVSU program.
 
This action follows the guidelines and protocols set by the league and its COVID-19 Advisory Committee.

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field and Tennis.

Women’s competition is offered in the sports of Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, Soccer, Softball, Tennis and Volleyball.
