SWAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honors: Dec. 8

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Arkansas-Pine Bluff's Zaay Green and Sade Hudson for SWAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during non-conference play this past week.

Player of the Week
Green has been a game changer for Arkansas-Pine Bluff this season as she played a significant role in helping UAPB defeat Tulane 79-74. UAPB also gave the Miami Hurricanes a scare in the Miami Holiday Classic this past weekend. In two games she averaged 13.5 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game while scoring a game-high 17 points and nine rebounds against the Green Wave.

Impact Player of the Week
Hudson helped the Lady Lions significantly in defeating Tulane 79-74 and gave Miami a battle to the end at the Miami Holiday Classic this past weekend. She averaged 12.5 points per game to go along with 1.5 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game while also scoring a team-high 13 points against the Hurricanes.
