BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama A&M’s Jalen Johnson and Bethune Cookman’s Dylan Robertson for SWAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during conference play this past week.
Player of the Week
Johnson registered 39 points and 15 rebounds over two games this past week. He notched a career high 30 points against Cincinnati. Johnson was the top scorer amongst both teams while also contributing seven rebounds while going 8-of-9 at the free throw line.
Impact Player of the Week
Robertson scored 21 and 13 points in two games at the Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach this weekend, earning him a spot on the All-Tournament team. He made 16 of his 25 shot attempts which was good for a .640 shooting percentage. Robertson also added nine rebounds and four blocks on the weekend.
