BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Florida A&M’s MJ Randolph and Alabama A&M’s Garrett Hicks for SWAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during conference play this past week.
Player of the Week
Randolph had a major impact in the Rattlers’ close game at Kansas State, finishing with 27 points on 10-17 from the field. He added seven rebounds, six assists, and one steal during the Rattlers’ non-conference outing versus KSU.
Impact Player of the Week
Hicks fueled the Bulldogs performance for their opening week of the season averaging 13.5 points per game. During AAMU's season opener game against Tennessee State he notched 16 points and tallied five rebounds to help give Alabama A&M a 82-73 victory.
