BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Prairie View A&M under the direction of head coach TaCho Tyler was selected to finish first in the Spring 2021 Volleyball Predicted Order of Finish for the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The preseason poll was voted upon by league head coaches and sports information directors.
In the predicted order of finish Jackson State was tabbed to finish second followed by Texas Southern, Southern, and Grambling State to round out the top five. Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Alcorn State, and Mississippi Valley State were selected to finish 6-8 respectively.
Conference play is scheduled to begin Sunday, January 24. The season will culminate with the SWAC Volleyball Tournament which is scheduled to be played March 26-28 at the Birmingham Crossplex.
