LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State took two of three during weekend series action versus Jackson State on Thursday and Friday. After dropping Thursday’s first game 3-2, Alcorn State bounced back to win game two 5-1. The Lady Braves pulled out a 5-4 victory over Jackson State on Friday to win the series on Senior Day.

GRAMBLING, La. – McKenzie Johnson combined to go 6-for-8 at the plate with three runs batted in and three runs scored as the Grambling State University softball team completed a two-game Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) sweep of Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday afternoon, 11-2 in five innings and 5-4, at the GSU Softball Complex.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Alabama A&M softball team swept arch-rival Alabama State during Southwestern Athletic Conference action this weekend. The Lady Bulldogs won game one 10-3, and claimed both sides of a Saturday doubleheader by scores of 9-3 and 5-4.

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas –The Prairie View A&M softball team took the first two games of the opening series from Southern on Friday, edging in game one 4-3 and run-ruling the Jaguars 8-0 in game two with a shut-out at the PVAMU Softball Stadium. Southern rebounded to win game three 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.
