2019 SWAC Volleyball Tournament Bracket

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The 2019 Southwestern Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament bracket is officially set. The tournament will take place November 22-24 in Itta Bena, Miss. on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University.
 
No. 1 seeded Alabama A&M claimed this year’s regular season title and will square off against No. 8 Grambling State in the first contest of the quarterfinals.
 
Prairie View A&M earned the No. 2 spot and will play No. 7 Arkansas-Pine Bluff. No. 3 Jackson State and No. 6 Texas Southern will see each other in action on the court and No. 4 Southern is slated to face No. 5 Alabama State in Thursday’s quarterfinals.
 
Seven schools have won the volleyball tournament championship since its inception (Alabama State, Alabama A&M, Jackson State, Prairie View A&M, Grambling State, Texas Southern, and Southern).
 
The SWAC Digital Network will broadcast the semifinals on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., while ESPNU features Sunday’s Championship match slated for 3:00 p.m.
