SWAC Soccer Players of the Week- Oct. 22
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Howard’s midfielder Thalia Boucher and defender Kendall Macauly along with Texas Southern's goalkeeper Salma Ghazal have been recognized by the Southwestern Athletic Conference as Soccer Players of the Week.

Offensive– Boucher: The Toronto, Canada native netted three goals during the course of the week. She added six points to her resume scoring the goals. Boucher scored two in the shutout victory over Mississippi Valley State and one in the 5-2 victory over Alcorn State.

Defensive– Macauly: Anchored Howard defensively in the shutout over Mississippi Valley State (3-0) and a 5-2 victory over Alcorn State. The Toronto, Ontario, Canada native recorded a pair of assists and a goal for four points during the week.

Goalkeeper– Ghazal: The Sugarland, Texas native registered ten saves in 182:46 minutes played throughout the course of the week. She recorded six saves in the 2-1 victory over Alabama State and four saves in the 2-1 victory over Alabama A&M.
