Thiboaux, La. – The Lady Tigers rallied back from a 1-0 deficit behind goals from Kailey Pena in the 24
th minute and Kaylee Holt in the 56
th minute to capture the road victory. Jasmine Smith recorded an assist on the first goal off a cross while Holt scored on a penalty kick for the winner. It was Holt’s 10
th career goal as a Lady Tiger. Grambling avenges a 1-0 to Nicholls State from last season.

- A pair of Texas Southern goalkeepers split time in net as Alexis Robles (two saves in 45 minutes) and Paula Vizoso (three saves in 45 minutes) combined for five saves and two goals allowed.
- Alabama State’s Teaggan Ilela gave the Lady Hornets the initial lead in the seventh minute off a free kick against Gardner Webb, but Alabama State was outshot 25-6 for the match and lost a 3-1 decision. Illela ranked 10th in the conference in scoring last season with 17 points.
- Mississippi Valley State goalkeeper Myisha Butts made nine saves in 45 minutes of action against Mercer.
- Alabama A&M sophomore forward Braejah Washington equaled her amount of goals scored all of last season with a mark during the 66th minute off an assist from Khadijah Shakirof at North Alabama.
- Jasmin Miller scored for the second time in as many matches on a breakaway shot in the lower left corner and Aleeya Sawyer added an insurance goal on a header in the 65th minute on an assist from Kendall Macauly as Howard picked up their first victory of the season with a 2-0 road win at Youngstown State. Alayah Hightower earned the shutout with three saves.
- Jackson State goalkeepers Faith Toennies made eight saves and Rachyl Robles made five saves against Jacksonville State.
- Emma Contino broke a scoreless tie against Southern with a goal off a set piece when teammate Megan Wright curled a corner kick into the box and the defender headed the ball into the back of the net.
- Alcorn State goalkeepers Kameran Proby and Giselle Rojas combined to make six saves against Southeastern Louisiana.
