Prairie View, TX – Freshman Quinn Josiah had the busiest night of any goalkeeper in the conference by making 20 saves in full time of her debut as the Lady Panthers fought hard against the Cowgirls, who represent the Southland Conference in each squad’s regular season opener on Friday night.

  • Alabama State junior forward Birgit Rijnders, a transfer from Upper Iowa University, scored in her debut match for the Lady Hornets on an assist from Kayla Tillman
  • Mississippi Valley State’s Laadi Issaka tied the Devilettes match with The Citadel 2-2 during the 34th minute.  Issaka now has 38 goals scored since the start of the 2015 season.
