- Andre Kennedy led Alabama A&M (0-2) with 14 points and Jalen Reeder added 13 points as the Bulldogs shot 40 percent from the floor at the Cougars (1-0).
- UAPB’s Martaveous McKnight dropped a game-high 41 points on 13-of-27 shooting from the field including 5-of-10 from 3-point range and 10-of-11 from the free throw line to go along with six rebounds in a losing effort at the Moby Arena at the Rams (2-0).
- Six Colorado State players reached double digits in scoring led by Nico Carvacho’s 18 points.
