Fan Fest | Georgia Dome | 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Must have game ticket to attend)

 

SportsCenter on The Road | West Plaza (Between Gates B & C | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

SportsCenter on the Road will originate LIVE from the Georgia Dome West Plaza between Gates B & C. Jay HarrisLisa Kerney and Cari Champion will anchor the program along with   analyst Jerome Bettis. Both the Alcorn State Sounds of Dyn-O-mite and North Carolina A&T Blue and Gold Marching Machine pep bands and drumlines will be on hand to entertain the     crowd – Open to the Public

 

Channel 2 Celebration Bowl Pregame | West Plaza (Between Gates B & C | 10:30 a.m. –     11:30 a.m.  

Atlanta’s own Channel 2 (ABC) will be live at the Georgia Dome highlighting the upcoming Celebration Bowl – Open to the Public

Goodie Hack @ Celebration Bowl | Tech Square Lab | 859 Spring Street | 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Goodie Hack is a mash-up of social good, tech innovation, entrepreneurship, highly skilled/passionate people. It’s, quite possibly, the coolest community impact project you’ll ever experience. The Celebration Bowl Edition is an intense and fast-paced one day event where current college students and recent college graduates form teams to develop technology ideas which solve educational within under-served communities. Each team will be mentored by some of Atlanta’s best tech startup founders who will help refine their idea and presentation before a huge pitch competition in front of industry experts and community leaders. Afterward, the winning team will be introduced to key opportunities, leaders, and events in the Atlanta tech startup ecosystem.

 

Team Welcome Dinner | Georgia Aquarium

The champions of the MEAC and SWAC conferences, along with their coaching staff, school   president, conference commissioners and other invited VIP guests, will descend on the city of Atlanta representing their leagues and institutions before meeting on the field – Channel 2   (WSB-TV) senior anchor Jovita Moore will be the moderator – a keynote speaker will be announced soon – Invitation Only




 

 Thursday, December 17

 

Male Youth Symposium/RACE Movie Screening, Presented by Focus Features | Regal       Cinemas Atlantic Station | 11 a.m – 2 p.m.

The Male Youth Symposium will provide a fresh outlook on how young men can #RunYourRace as Champions….just like Jesse Owens.  The 100 Black Men of Atlanta, ESPN and Focus Features have partnered to deliver an experience with an impact to about 400 young men during the Celebration Bowl by hosting a movie screening and Q&A Talkback with film star Stephan James.  Stephan plays the character Jesse Owens in the upcoming film .

Celebration Bowl Champions Dinner| College Football Hall of Fame | 6 p.m.

Both schools, their coaching staffs, school president, conference commissioners and other invited VIP guests, will gather for an intimate dinner – ESPN’s Jay Harris is the moderator. Invitation Only

Team Hospital Visit & Community Event

 

College Fair | Georgia World Congress Center, Building C | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

A free event for high school juniors and seniors interested in attending college – more than 50 HBCU and Majority Institutions will be represented – in addition, a Scholarship Academy     Workshop will be available to inform students about college funding and financial aid opportunities – Open to the Public

 

Robotics Showcase and Invitational Day 1, Presented by Georgia Power | Georgia World   Congress Center, Building C | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The ‘Super Bowl of Smarts’ – Georgia FIRST robotics teams from around the state will go head-to-head in a robots competition event – Aerial Assist – Open to the Public.

 

The 100 Black Men of Atlanta Celebration Bowl Welcome Event | Delta Airlines Museum |   7p.m. – 11 p.m.

Celebrate the inaugural Celebration Bowl with the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Delta Airlines, ESPN and the City of Atlanta – your ticket will not only give you access to this special event but also the opportunity to experience the lasting legacy of Atlanta’s own Delta Airlines within   their Delta Flight Museum. Tickets are $75 and are available here.
