Southwestern Athletic Conference

The No. 21 Tigers have yet to lose to a Southwestern Athletic Conference opponent and will represent the West Division in the conference championship game for the first time since 2011. The second-year coach has led the Tigers to back-to-back winning seasons after they won once in each of the two years prior to his arrival. 2015 Records: 8-2 overall, 8-0 SWAC

Kourtney Berry, LB Alabama State
Berry leads SWAC and is fourth in NCAA in tackles with 120. He registered double digit tackles in seven games with a season-high 19 against Grambling State.  Twice Berry has been named SWAC Defensive Player of the Week in 2015.  CSM Defensive Player of the Week vs. Grambling...Defensive MVP of the Magic City Classic. He is also listed on the CFPA Defensive Player of the Year Watch List.

Marquis Green, S - Mississippi Valley State
Green made quite an impact in his first season despite the Delta Devils finishing with a 1-10 record. His seven interceptions led the SWAC and ranked fourth in the FCS, and he also broke up another pass. Green also finished with 47 tackles - 34 solo - and had one tackle for loss.

Griffin's SWAC-leading 11 touchdowns came on only 35 receptions that went for an average of 20.4 yards, which ranked second in the conference. He tied for sixth in FCS in TDs for the Tigers (3-6).

Hebert was named to the 2015 Preseason FCS All-American as a First Team All-SWAC running back and kick returner. He leads Prairie View A&M in rushing (725 / 5th SWAC), receptions (46/T-3rd SWAC), receiving yardage (563 / 5th SWAC) and all-purpose yardage (198.7 / He leads the SWAC / 2nd NCAA)...ranks second on the team and T-8th in SWAC with 8 total toucdowns

Hebert was named Stats FCS Player of the Week after 398 all-purpose yards at Southern on Oct. 17, notched 200-plus all-purpose yards versus Alabama A&M and Grambling State and rushed for 100-plus yards on four occasions with a high of 114 at Southern.  He also caught 10 passes for 170 yards at Southern yards.  Carried the ball 19 for 212 yards against Jackson State on Nov. 21.

Johnathan Williams, QB - Grambling State
The resurgence of Grambling State football has a lot to do with Williams taking command of the offense as a dual-threat quarterback. The Tigers have clinched first place in the SWAC's West Division and will play in the conference championship game on Dec 5.. He ranks second in the FCS in touchdown passes (33), and third in the SWAC in passing yards per game (262.8) and total offensive yards per game (294.6). Helping those averages was a big win over Prairie View A&M in which Williams passed for 429 yards and six touchdowns.
