About the Championship
The 2014 Southwestern Athletic Conference Golf Championships will be hosted in Alexandria, LA with the support of The Greater Alexandria Economic Development Authority and Alexandria/Pineville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. The championships are scheduled to take place April 21 - 23 at Links on the Bayou and OakWing Golf Club. Tee times for day one are determined by GolfStat rankings. Tee times for remaing days are determined by team placement.
Links on the Bayou is a full service public golf course that has a beautiful and challenging 18 hole layout. The facility also has a pro shop, restaurant, practice range, chipping range, putting green, and a three hole par three golf course. OakWing offers 18 holes of championship golf, clubhouse and practice facilities with manicured greens and beautiful scenery.
Last season, Alabama State captured both, the men's and womne's title. For the men, it was their second consecutive win and the women's second title in three years.
