The Southwestern Athletic Conference apologizes for the incident that occurred during halftime of the women's game between Jackson State and Prairie View at the SWAC Basketball Tournament. It is the goal of the SWAC to provide a safe and enjoyable venue for its athletic events. The parties involved in the incident were escorted from the building and one person was detained.
