JACKSON, Miss. - Jackson Southern University eliminated Southern from the 2013 SWAC Volleyball Tournament with a 3-0 win on Saturday at T.B. Ellis Gymnasium.

Paige Williams and Jasmine Knight each finished with a double digit figure to push JSU (9-20) to a victory. Williams had 13 kills and Knight tallied 11 while Mikayla Rolle posted eight kills to assist the Lady Tigers.

Jenna Siddiqui paced the offense with a double-double recording 33 assists to couple 11 digs.  Kiersten Howard led the JSU back line with nine digs and Kennede Banks posted three of JSU's nine blocks.

SU (9-19) finished with six blocks with Diamond Williams leading the defensive effort with 17 digs while Michelle Williams chipped in eight.

Simone Beasley led the offense with nine kills and Chanda Journet had 18 assists.
