2012 SWAC All-Academic Teams Announced

A total of 875 student-athletes from around the SWAC earned academic honors by completing a full academic year in residence at the certifying institution, maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA or above.
Leading the way was Commissioner's Cup winner Prairie View A&M who had 112 honorees. Grambling State followed with 108, while Arkansas-Pine Bluff had the third highest total with 92.
Sporting the highest GPA as a team was the UAPB women's tennis team with a team GPA of 3.73, while the Jackson State women's tennis team was second with a cumulative average of 3.62. The UAPB men's tennis team was third with a team GPA of 3.58.
