He attended Marshall High School in Carrollton. He played college basketball at Alcorn State University from 1965-1969. At Alcorn State, he scored 1,973 career points (ranking 2nd in the school’s all-time scoring list) and grabbed 1,413 career rebounds (also ranked 2nd). Professional Career Drafted in 1969 in the 2nd round (19th pick) by the Detroit Pistons. His NBA career spanned from about 1971 to 1978, playing for the Detroit Pistons, Seattle Supersonics, and Portland Trail Blazers. His career averages in the NBA: around 7.5 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game.
