  • Driver attended Alcorn State University, where he played football (as a wide receiver) and also competed in track & field.
  • His college football statistics included:
    • In his final season (1998), he caught 55 passes for 1,128 yards and scored 10 touchdowns in 11 games — averaging about 20.5 yards per catch.
    • Over his Alcorn State career, he had 88 receptions for 1,993 yards.
