Career at Alcorn State
  • Myles was a four-year starting quarterback for Alcorn State from 1982-1985.
  • In his freshman season (1982) he completed 66 of 151 passes for 804 yards in 10 games and scored two rushing touchdowns.
  • In 1983 he threw for over 1,400 yards and 13 touchdowns.
  • In 1984, regarded as his best season: he completed 95 of 187 passes for 1,523 yards and 16 touchdowns; rushed for 96 yards and 3 touchdowns; led the Braves to a 9-0 regular season before losing in the Division I-AA playoffs; the Braves went 7-0 in SWAC play, averaging 37.5 points per game. He was named to the All-SWAC 2nd Team.
  • In his senior year he again threw for over 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns and earned All-SWAC 2nd Team honors.
  • He ranks 3rd in Alcorn State’s all-time career passing yards list (5,474 yards), 3rd in completions (366), and 4th in passing touchdowns (42).
