  • Nathaniel Gross Sr. (often listed simply as Nathaniel Gross) was a dominant sprinter for Prairie View A&M University in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the late 1990s.
  • He helped guide Prairie View’s track & field program to the school’s first interior success — including the 1998 SWAC Indoor championship — and was a pivotal part of the Panthers’ subsequent 1999–2000 outdoor conference titles.
  • His individual accolades included multiple SWAC titles in the 200-meter, 400-meter and 4×100-meter relay events.
  • In recognition of his outstanding accomplishments and impact on SWAC athletics, Gross was inducted into the SWAC Hall of Fame as part of the 2018 class.
