  • Alonzo Bradley was a standout basketball player for Texas Southern University (TSU) in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
  • Born on October 16, 1953, in Utica, Mississippi, Bradley dominated during his two-year career at TSU from 1975 to 1977, scoring 1,698 points, collecting 553 rebounds, and recording 198 assists.
  • He was named Team MVP and earned All-SWAC and All-Tournament Team honors in both 1976 and 1977, cementing his reputation as one of the conference’s premier players.
  • His exceptional college performance led to his selection in the second round of the 1977 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers, and he went on to play professionally for the Houston Rockets from 1977 to 1980.
