  • He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Mississippi Valley State University.
  • At MVSU, he was a two-sport athlete, playing both football and baseball. In fact, he was inducted into the MVSU Athletics Hall of Fame for “Football / Baseball
  • He was also inducted into the MVSU National Alumni Association Hall of Fame in 2004.
