Key Facts & Accomplishments

Frank Lewis was recognized by ASU as a “standout four-sport student athlete” at Alabama State University. He earned letters every year in baseball, basketball, track, and football.
In football at ASU, he earned All-SIAC honors and was named an All-American by the Pittsburgh Courier.
He was inducted into the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Hall of Fame in 1995 under “Sport(s): Football – Alabama State”.
He was also inducted into the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Hall of Fame (although some sources list the ASU connection; there may be some mixture/overlap) in 1994.
His 2023 induction class at ASU’s Athletics Hall of Fame includes him in the “football” category of inductees.
