  • Harrison Wilson Jr. was a transformative basketball coach at Jackson State University (a SWAC member), where he amassed a 371-93 record over 17 seasons, never posting a losing season and leading his teams to multiple 20-win campaigns and a SWAC championship in the 1963-64 season.
  • Following his career at Jackson State, he went on to serve as president of Norfolk State University.
  • His exceptional leadership, contributions to HBCU athletics and lasting impact on the SWAC earned him induction into the SWAC Hall of Fame.
