Young, Roynell Young, Willie Younger, Paul " Tank" John Stallworth Class Induction 2004 Sport(s) Legend Alabama A&M John Stallworth was a standout wide receiver at Alabama A&M University (a member institution of the SWAC), where he distinguished himself on the field before being selected in the fourth round of the 1974 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Over his 14-season NFL career, Stallworth won four Super Bowl championships, earned three Pro Bowl selections and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002. His exceptional collegiate and professional accomplishments and his lasting impact on SWAC and HBCU football were further recognized when he was honored as part of the SWAC’s distinguished “Legends” class.
