  • Isiah Robertson, Jr. was a dominant linebacker at Southern University in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), where he became one of the league’s most feared defensive players in the late 1960s.
  • A two-time All-SWAC performer and a consistent All-America selection, Robertson helped anchor Southern’s defense with his rare combination of size, speed, and instinct.
  • His standout collegiate career led to his selection as the 10th overall pick in the 1971 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, where he went on to earn six Pro Bowl selections and establish himself as one of the NFL’s elite linebackers of the 1970s.
