  • Served as Jackson State athletic director after coaching.
  • Was inducted into the Jackson State Sports Hall of Fame (1985), SWAC Hall of Fame (2005), National College Baseball Hall of Fame (2016), and Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame (2017).
  • Jackson State's baseball field is named Robert “Bob” Braddy Field in his honor.
