TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Bethune-Cookman baseball team will open the 2025 NCAA Baseball Championship at the Tallahassee Regional as a four-seed, with teams and schedules announced on Monday.
Joining the Wildcats at Dick Howser Stadium will be No. 9 national seed Florida State Seminoles, second-seed Northeastern, three-seed Mississippi State. The weekend begins with FSU vs. B-CU on Friday, May 30, at 2 p.m. CT, on ACC Network. MSU and NU will play at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
The double-elimination regional will continue on Saturday, May 31, with an elimination game at 11 p.m. and a winner's bracket game at 5 p.m. Sunday's games also are at 11 p.m. and 5 p.m. If necessary, the two regional finalists will play another game on Monday at a time to be determined.
Bethune-Cookman, the fourth seed, is 37-21 overall and won the SWAC Tournament in walk-off fashion after also claiming the regular-season crown. The Wildcats will play in an NCAA Regional for the first time since 2017 and 18th overall.
Florida State begins regional play with a 38-14 record. The Seminoles posted a runner-up finish in the ACC, its best since 2014, with a 17-10 record.
Northeastern earned the regional's No. 2 seed and made the NCAA Tournament for the 11th time. At 48-9 overall, the Huskies won the CAA regular season and tournament titles.
No. 3 seed Mississippi State is in the NCAA Tournament for the 41st time. With a 34-21 record, the Bulldogs have won nine of their last 11 games. MSU was 11th in the SEC at 15-15.

Seminoles.com/Tickets, with general admission tickets on sale for all fans. If reserved seats remain available, they will go on sale for all fans on Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m.
Individual game tickets will be available prior to each game. Friday's single game tickets will go on sale on Friday at 9 a.m., with the following day's tickets on sale the night before at approximately 11 p.m., once that day's matchups are set.
All-session tickets are $60 for reserved seats and $45 for general admission.
