SWAC Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships Day Two Recap

BATON ROUGE, La.- The second day of the 2025 SWAC Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships concluded with Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern leading their fields on the women’s and men’s side respectively.
 
On the women’s side Prairie View A&M sits atop the leaderboard with 66.5 total points. Southern (64.5 points) and Alabama A&M (46 points) sit in second and third place respectively.
 
Texas Southern currently sits in first place with 26 total points on the men’s side. Bethune-Cookman (46 points) and Alabama A&M (29 points) sit in second and third place respectively.
 
The final day of competition will begin at 10:00 am CST with the men’s discus.

Day three (May 13) will also be streamed live on the SWAC Digital Network beginning at 5:00 pm CST with the women’s 4x100 meter relay event.
