BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men’s Tennis Postseason Honors on Thursday. The all-conference honors were voted on by the league’s coaches and sports information directors.
Alabama State’s David J. Grandinot was tabbed Player of the Year while Jackson State’s Maas Schotanus was named Freshman of the Year.
Grandinot was a key contributor for the Hornets this season at singles position one during regular season competition. He posted an undefeated 3-0 record in league play.
Jackson State’s Schotanus had an impressive debut season during his initial collegiate campaign. He compiled an undefeated record at No. 3 singles going 3-0.
Alabama State's Anuk Christiansz was named Coach of the Year.
