BATON ROUGE, La.- The second day of the 2024 SWAC Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships concluded with Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern leading their fields on the women’s and men’s side respectively.
 
On the women’s side Prairie View A&M sits atop the leaderboard with 62 total points. Southern (49.3 points) and Jackson State (38 points) sit in second and third place respectively.
 
Texas Southern currently sits in first place with 61 total points on the men’s side. Jackson State (54 points) and Alabama A&M (40 points) sit in second and third place respectively.
 
Day three of competition will begin at 10:00 am CST with the Men’s Discus and Pole Vault.

Tomorrow’s action will be streamed live on the SWAC Digital Network beginning at 5:00 pm CST with the Women’s 4x100 meter relay event.
