ARLINGTON, Texas-The opening day of the 2024 SWAC Women’s Bowling Tournament ended with No. 2 seed Alabama State claiming a 2-0 win over No. 3 seed Alabama A&M. 

With the win the Hornets advance to face No. 1 seed Southern at 1:00 pm CST on Saturday , March 23.
