BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- All eight Women’s Bowling teams from the Southwestern Athletic Conference will compete this weekend at the 2024 SWAC Bowling East Round-Up at Cypress Lanes located in D'Iberville, Miss. 

The SWAC East Round-Up is the second of two conference competitions that will determine the regular season conference champion.

Competition will start on Friday (Feb. 2) at 10:00 am CST and conclude on Sunday (Feb. 4). Admission is free and open to the general public. The final day of the event will start at 9:00 am CST.

About the SWAC
The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams.
 
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field and Tennis.

Women’s competition is offered in the sports of Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, Soccer, Softball, Tennis and Volleyball.
