Alabama State's Robinson Receives LPGA PAT Acceptance Letter

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Alabama State University women's golf Katie Robinson recently won low medalist at the Women In Golf Foundation Collegiate Championship earning an exemption into the Ladies Professional Golf Association PAT. 

Robinson received her official letter from the LPGA which also acknowledged that she also received an exemption for a future EPSON Tour event at a date to be determined. 

Robinson  claimed low medalist honors at the Women's Collegiate Championship at Eagles Landing Country Club a week ago.
 
She shot a 78 in the first round and penciled a final round 81 to finish with a 159. She was two strokes ahead of Chicago State's 

The LPGA is the longest-running women's sports organization in the world and places emphasis on not only having the best players in the world but also a commitment to "changing the face of the game" with members who not only run successful golf businesses but give back to their community by sharing their passion for golf.
