BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- All eight Women’s Bowling teams from the Southwestern Athletic Conference will compete this weekend (Feb. 3-5) at the final 2023 SWAC Bowling Round-Up at Cypress Lanes in D'Iberville, Miss. 

The final results from this week’s action will determine the regular season conference champion.

Competition will start on Friday morning at 10:00 am CST with five traditional matches and resume Saturday with the same schedule. Admission is free and open to the general public. The final day of the event will start at 9:00 am CST and feature four matches.

Texas Southern enters the event in sole possession of first place with a 11-3 overall record through 14 total matches played. Southern (10-4) and Prairie View A&M (9-5) sit closely behind in second and third place respectively.
 
Alabama State’s Savanna Razor placed 1^st individually at the first SWAC Round-Up held at Cypress Lanes. She amassed a total pinfall of 3,018 while posting an average of 220.07 per game.
 
Alabama A&M’s Rose Ugbinada led all freshman competitors finishing in 8^th place individually at the first SWAC Round-Up.  She contributed a total pinfall of 2,682 while posting an average of 191.57 per game.
